Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon®: Wildlands now comes with eye tracking.
Taking down El Sueno and his Bolivian drug cartel becomes an even richer experience with Tobii eye tracking.
Now armed with an extensive set of eye tracking features, team communication becomes more seamless, assaults on enemy compounds become more realistic, and exploring Ubisoft’s biggest open-world game ever becomes a more immersive adventure.
Join the underground war against the notorious cartel that turned Bolivia into a narco-state.
The Tobii Eye Tracker 4C, our latest eye tracker, along with the Alienware, Predator and Acer devices now has full eye tracking support for Ubisoft’s upcoming title — Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.
EYE TRACKING FEATURES
Below you will find the features that eye tracking enables to help you battle the Santa Blanca drug cartel.
Aim at Gaze
Sometimes tactical assaults go awry and you find yourself in an impromptu firefight. Well, targeting enemies becomes more natural with the combination of eye tracking and traditional controls.
The Aim at Gaze feature allows you to simply look at the opponent you want to take down and your character will automatically aim there… Just make sure you don’t get killed before you can fire.
Mark at Gaze
Performing an extract, or trying to coordinate an assault with your team? Tag supplies or leave a marker on an enemy in your field of view by glancing at them. Coordinate assaults on the cartel as you decide who lives and who dies…
Extended View and Head Tracking
One of the few titles enabled with both head and eye tracking, immersion is taken to the next level. Your view will no longer be confined to the parameters of the screen while you’re in the chopper, sneaking up on drug lords, or unleashing chaos.
The extended view and head tracking features open up your world, allowing you to control the scene camera with your eyes and head, increase awareness, and take in more of the vast Bolivian wildlands.
Explore new territories without onscreen like HUD and ammo count. With Clean UI they are transparent until you look at them, so now you can scope out the area without anything obstructing your view.
Whether you’re fighting from the clouds or fighting from the shadows, your ghost’s eyes will adapt to different lighting in a more realistic way. This feature mimics natural eye functions and adds responsive gaze to a world that can be both beautiful and dangerously dark.
Spend less of your time toggling multiple commands and more of your time actually communicating with your team as you fight of El Sueno and the cartel. The gaze enhanced Communications wheel allows you to make command selections with your eyes, so you can seamlessly direct your team and send commands for the next plan of attack.
Auto Pause (Cool basic feature)
No Gif for this. We all get distracted from time to time, except now you don’t have to worry about being caught off-guard. Next time you look away from the game it will automatically pause for you, so you don’t get killed when you least expect it.
